I have an easier way to make the circle–from a pattern I recently used: Wrap yarn aroundindex finger. Insert hook into ring on finger, yarn over and draw up a loop. Carefully slip ring from finger and work the stitches of Rnd 1 into the ring. That’s it. You can pull the end to tighten the loop.
