Pattern: Renee’s Shawl

This very lacy, incredibly drapey shawl is a design I made for a birthday present for my friend Renee. Renee is a needlepoint designer so is already yarn-friendly, but she is fascinated by yarn that has a long color repeat-– long repeats are not incredibly useful in most needlepoint!

I prefer the trapezoid shape shown in the model but have included modifications for a triangular shawl as well, so you can choose whichever shape you like. Both versions are made bottom-up so you can customize the height and width to suit yourself.
