Add a little sunshine to your living space with some handmade rainbow-themed décor! This fun class was designed with beginners in mind, but seasoned crocheters will also love following these straight-forward patterns to create something fresh for their home. Brenda’s favorite way to teach is to “learn by doing”. Learn how to crochet as you make two adorable projects for your home: the Rainbow Wall-Hanging and Rainbow Pillow. Follow along with Brenda as she demonstrates all the skills you need to make these beautiful accent pieces!

The first project you’ll make is a gorgeous Macramé-inspired wall hanging! Have some fun constructing this creative, rainbow-themed wall hanging using only very basic stitches and a bit of easy sewing. This is the perfect project for learning how to crochet, but more advanced crocheters will appreciate the easy construction method and the striking results!

After learning the basics, you will be ready to move on to the Rainbow Pillow. This deceptively simple project will build on the skills that you’ve already learned as you learn how to shape your crochet using increases. You will also gain skills for creating amigurumi (toy) projects such as crocheting a firm fabric, sewing pieces together, and adding stuffing evenly.

With over two and a half hours of clear video instruction, Brenda will lead you through every step of each of these projects so that you can successfully complete this cheerful set! By the end of the class, you will have learned the following skills: understanding gauge, how to choose the appropriate yarn, basic pattern reading, working single crochet stitches in turned rows, simple increases, basic amigurumi skills, adding structure to your 3-D project, sewing skills for crochet and more.

How do I know what the Class covers?

Every Class has a free Preview video you can watch, to give you a flavor of the Instructor and the skills or project that will be covered. In addition, the Overview tab includes a thorough written description of the Class. And finally, each Class Session has a brief written summary of the content in that Session, including the length of each Session video. You will get a good feel for the Class content by reviewing these resources.

Once you’ve paid, you can access/view your Class by going to the MY ACCOUNT section of Creative Crochet Corner. The MY ACCOUNT link is in the upper right-hand area of the website. Within your MY ACCOUNT, a section labeled “My Classes” will appear, including a link to watch the video of your Class. You’ll also receive an email confirmation after your purchase, which will include a link to view your Class. You can access your Class as many times as you wish, and you’ll never lose access to your Account information. Just be sure to “Log In” for access to MY ACCOUNT.

Do I have to take the Class right away?

How do I get access to the Bonus Materials for the Class?

Until you purchase a Class, the Bonus material (any extra videos, download materials, etc.) will not be accessible. Once you purchase a Class, and go to view your Class, each individual Bonus element is accessible by simply clicking on each item. You’ll find the Bonus Materials directly below your main Class viewer frame. You can access the bonus materials as many times as you like and/or save them to your device.

How does the Class Q&A Resource benefit work?

Once you purchase any Class, within the Class viewing page, you’ll have access to post a question, comment or tip in the Class Q&A Resource area. This is not a “live chat,” but your Creative Crochet Corner contributors will answer posted questions and provide tips regularly.
