Pattern: Into the Deep Shawl/Cowl

Into the Deep by Karen Whooley is the perfect blend of shawl and cowl. It starts as a top-down triangle shawl, then once the top edge is large enough to fit over the wearer’s head, it’s joined in the round to become a cowl. This pattern was designed to work with a single skein of gradient yarn, but you can use your imagination to create whatever color works best for you.

This beginner-friendly pattern calls for 460 yards of fingering weight yarn and a Size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook.

This pattern is delivered as a 7-page Downloadable PDF, which you can view and/or print.
