Pattern: Tonal Tank Top
The Tonal Tank by Karen Whooley features a softly undulating stitch pattern reminiscent of ocean waves. Its simple shape makes this a versatile piece that can be worn dressed up or down. Worked in a sumptuous silk and seacell yarn, this shell has a drape and movement. The stitch pattern is interesting without being fussy, with the subtle tones of the yarn adding to the illusion of waves.
This intermediate level pattern calls for 1160 to 170 yards (depending on size) of light fingering weight yarn, with Sizes D/3 (3.25 mm) and C/2 (2.75 mm) crochet hooks.
