Sometimes when I'm looking for tools to use at the yarn store or perhaps at a big yarn show, I find there's a lot more that are available for knitters than there are for crocheters. But if you'd like to use a row counter that is set up for knitters, all you need to do is grab your favorite locking stitch marker and instead of slipping the row counter from needle to needle like you would, if you were knitting, you can just use that locking stitch marker to attach the number to your row. Once it's completed, this works in the round too where for every subsequent row round, just use that locking stitch marker to move up to the next number. And if you have to count a specific number of rows, you'll always know where you are. I'm Mary Beth Temple.
