You have so many choices of closures and product styles to choose from! Let’s briefly go over the areas we will cover so you can select your supplies before you begin.
The two main decisions to make about using zippers in crochet are whether you are going to crochet directly onto the zipper or add it in after, then what type of zipper will work best for the option you chose. We have lots of options to look at!
Another closure choice with tons of options! We will look at different styles of buttons (shank vs 2- or 4-hole) and then talk about the best buttonhole to make for the buttons you have chosen.
While buttons and zippers may be the most obvious closure choices there are SO many more options! In this session we will look at snaps, D-rings, frogs and clasps, and lacing as stylish options for your crochet projects.

Being nervous about crochet closures is one of the things that keep accessory- and blanket-only crocheters from moving towards garments and bags! In this class you will learn all sorts of tips and tricks to add closures to your own projects.

Whether you are designing a project of your own, or just want a little visual aid when working from a written pattern, Closures in Crochet will allow you to compare closure methods to see which one might work best for you. There might even be some you hadn’t thought of!
