Tinctured by Karen Whooley is a show-stopping half-mandala shawl that uses an elongated half-circle technique. The wingspan will curve around the neck and shoulders to keep the shawl in place as you wear it. Because the main shawl uses an easy-to-memorize, eight-row lace repeat, you can easily lengthen or shorten the shawl by adding or subtracting sets of those rows. Designed to make the most of variegated yarns with short-color runs, Tinctured will wow everyone no matter your color choices.

This intermediate shawl pattern calls for 840 yards of fingering weight yarn and a Size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook.
