When switching back and forth between colors within a row, there are often floats on the wrong side of your work where the colors are exchanged. These floats can be hidden with a special technique, for a more flawless finish on both sides of your work. In this video, Mary Beth Temple demonstrates this surprisingly easy technique for hiding the floats. This skill is very useful when working in intarsia to create large blocks of color, and it is especially valuable if you are making something where both sides will be visible such as a scarf or a blanket.
