Christmas Tree Ornament

Learn how to make this simple Christmas tree ornament! In this video, Brenda K. B. Anderson teaches us how to transform a simple granny square into this cute pine tree decoration. All you need is a small amount of yarn, a cinnamon stick, and a piece of twine, cord or contrast color yarn for a hanging loop, and a glue gun. This ornament can be hung on your Christmas tree, tied to a gift with a ribbon for a festive touch, or string a group of these onto a piece of twine for a lovely holiday garland.

Quick to stitch up and inexpensive too, this tree also makes a great last minute gift! Brenda is using a worsted weight acrylic yarn and an H/8 (4.0mm) crochet hook. But feel free to use other yarn/hook combinations for a variety of sizes. You will not believe how easy this project is to make until you try it!
