Hi, I'm Mary Beth Temple. A lot of people struggle with the best way to change colors when they're crocheting and the one tip I want you to remember is this whether you're at the end of the row or in the middle of the row. If you make your last yarn over and draw through in the new color, your top and your bottom of your stitches are always going to match. So in this case, I made a double crochet. I'm up to the last time where I'm going to yarn over and draw through two.

I'm just gonna pull that through and now I'm gonna go ahead and chain three and turn or whatever the pattern calls for. But this way, the top and the bottom of the stitch are the same, the same thing works in the middle of the row. I'm going to start my stitch for my last yarn over and draw through. I'm gonna use my new color now I'm ready to move on and the tops and bottoms of all of my stitches are always the same color
