Brenda K.B. Anderson

Brenda K. B. Anderson crochets, knits, and sews into the wee hours after her kids have gone to bed. She loves designing stuffies that make her laugh, and accessories that beg to be worn over and over again by her friends and family. Brenda is the author of Beastly Crochet and Crochet Ever After and also teaches a Craftsy Class: Crochet Mittens and Fingerless gloves. She has contributed to several books and numerous magazines and is the managing editor of the Creative Crochet Corner. She lives in a little house in Saint Paul, MN where it is sweater weather nine months of the year and blogs about her crafty adventures at Craftsplosion.com.

Marly Bird

Marlaina "Marly" Bird fled the world of financial services to launch her Yarn Thing podcast and hasn't looked back. To Marly, a bi-craftsy girl who both knits and crochets, the yarn is the star. She's National Spokesperson for Red Heart Yarns and the co-author of "Curvy Crochet" (Leisure Arts, 2011). You've seen her designs in Knit Simple, Interweave Crochet, Knitscene, Inside Crochet, Wild Fiber and Petite Purls, and in the books "Perfectly Plus" and "Knitting Plus."

Ken Cormier

Kenneth has been crocheting since the age of 10. Self-taught and using a #7 steel crochet hook and kite string, he mastered the art and beauty of crochet. Through the years, he has had published work in plastic canvas, cross stitching, and crochet. Recently retired, he makes his home in Jennings, LA, the heart of Cajun country. His hobbies include photography, playing the piano and sketching, but his main passion is designing in crochet.

Mister Domestic

Mathew Boudreaux (aka Mister/Mx. Domestic) is a fabric and pattern designer, sewing instructor, inspirational speaker, consultant, and global influencer on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. His favorite thing about his crafting journey is the truly inclusive community it has created. Mathew lives in the Pacific Northwest with his spouse, daughter, dog, and lots of fabric and yarn.

Corrina Ferguson

Corrina Ferguson is a knitting designer, instructor, and technical editor based in sunny Florida where 60 degrees is sweater weather. A lifelong crafter with a love for math, Corrina is the author of two knitting books and enjoys using math to create better knitting patterns. Corrina has published designs in a wide variety of magazines, books, and knitting websites, and has collaborated with several yarn companies. She also publishes designs under her own brand Craftstar Studios.

Jessica Fishman

Yarn arts introduced themselves to Jessica Fishman’s life with the birth of her nephew back in 2010, driven by a desire to make personalized, cute, and altogether quirky creations to spur his budding imagination. Developing from knit blankets early on to complex (and original) crochet amigurumi and cacti, she soon expanded, opening her Etsy store 4 years ago. Crocheting allowed Jessica a means to channel her own unconventional way of thinking, adopting her motto for life for the store, “...with love and quirkiness.” Jessica is a pre-school teacher and lives with her husband in Larchmont, NY.

Shannon Leigh Roudhán

Shannon Leigh Roudhán and Jason Bowlsby, aka Shannon & Jason, have created award-winning crochet, knit, and sewing designs featured in publications around the world, and published 10 books of crochet and knitwear patterns. Shannon has been teaching for more than 20 years, and lives with Jason in Seattle with their three Shiba Inu.

Toni Lipsey

Toni Lipsey, the designer and instructor behind TL Yarn Crafts, strives to inspire creativity through online tutorials and modern, approachable crochet patterns. Jen Lucas

Jen Lucas has been knitting for almost 20 years and designing patterns for over a decade. She has designed knit and crochet patterns for yarn companies and magazines and has self-published dozens of patterns. Jen is the author of six knitting books, including the best-selling book, Sock-Yarn Shawls. She loves to create beautiful, fun, and easy-to-follow knit and crochet patterns. Jen dabbles in a wide variety of crafts, including cross stitch and sewing.

Linda Permann

Linda Permann is an internationally published crochet designer, writer and author of Little Crochet and Crochet Adorned. She frequently contributes to numerous magazines and sells her own line of patterns, Lindamade.

Mary Beth Temple

Mary Beth Temple is a long-time designer of knit, crochet and sewing patterns, and lover of any other type of craft that comes across her path! She can often be found crafting by the beach near her home in Wilmington, North Carolina, and makes no guarantees that there won’t be sand in her samples. With more than a dozen books to her name, Mary Beth is a prolific designer whose independent work can be found under her brand name Hooked for Life. Rebecca Velasquez

Rebecca Velasquez first learned to crochet from her grandmother at a very young age. As an adult, she revisited the art of crocheting and quickly fell in love with the craft, soon expanding her skills to include knitting and spinning. She has been published in Inside Crochet, Crochet World, and Petite Purls, and has created designs for Classic Elite Yarns, Bijou Basin Ranch Yarns, Quince & Co Yarns, Caron Yarns, Webs, and South West Trading Company (SWTC). Rebecca has also contributed designs for Simply Crochet published by Interweave Press. Rebecca can often be found working on original designs for various publications while creating knitting and crocheting design books of her own.

Kim Werker

Kim Werker is a writer and editor who started her career by founding the popular website CrochetMe (which, sadly, no longer exists). As an avid maker, she spends at least a few minutes every day making something, even if it's just a few stitches or macaroni and cheese from a box. Kim has served as the editor for Interweave Crochet magazine and authored six crochet books, including "Make It Mighty Ugly: Exercises and Advice for Getting Creative Even When It Ain't Pretty." Karen Whooley

Karen Whooley is an award-winning crochet designer and instructor based in Washington state.
