Soirée by Karen Whooley is a shawl light enough for spring and summer and elegant enough for holiday parties. Undulating waves of shells and post stitches create a lacy look while giving the top edge shaping to sit on your shoulders without falling off. This shaping also allows for the shawl to be worn a variety of ways. The best part? You can lengthen it or shorten just by adding or removing any number of two-row repeats. It’s the perfect wrap!

This advanced beginner pattern is created using 950 yards of a heavy lace weight yarn and a Size F (3.75 mm) crochet hook.
